As a workaround, you can open Outlook on the web in your mobile browser and follow the steps in the \u201cOutlook on the Web\u201d section below to export contacts to Excel. From there, you can open the exported CSV file in the Excel mobile app.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outlook for iOS and Android does not provide the same CSV-to-Excel export workflow documented for new Outlook, classic Outlook and Outlook on the web. Outlook mobile does have contact-export or Save Contacts functionality for supported accounts, but that feature saves supported Outlook contacts to the device&#8217;s native Contacts app; it is not a CSV export for Excel. If you need a CSV file on a phone or tablet, open Outlook on the web in a browser and use People &gt; Manage contacts &gt; Export contacts.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Method_4_How_to_Export_Outlook_Contacts_from_Outlook_on_the_Web_to_Excel\"><\/span>Method 4: How to Export Outlook Contacts from Outlook on the Web to Excel<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you use Outlook Web, you can easily export your contacts to Excel right from your browser.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how:<\/p>\n<p>1. Open the downloaded <b>.csv<\/b> file in Excel.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Method_5_Export_Contacts_from_Outlook_to_Excel_on_Mac\"><\/span>Method 5: Export Contacts from Outlook to Excel on Mac<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outlook for Mac does not currently provide a Microsoft-documented direct CSV export from the desktop app. Microsoft documents the Outlook for Mac export feature as an Outlook for Mac archive (.olm) export. An .olm file is useful for archiving or moving Outlook for Mac data, but it is not an Excel-ready contact file.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the contacts are stored in a Microsoft 365, Exchange Online or Outlook.com mailbox, use the same account in Outlook on the web and export the contacts to CSV:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open Outlook on the web and select People.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select Manage contacts &gt; Export contacts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Choose All contacts or the required contact folder.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select Export.
