<\/span>How Does CiraHub Work?<\/span><\/h2>\n

CiraHub is a multi-way sync platform which specializes in Shared Contacts, Calendars, and Global Address List Data for organizations utilizing Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Server, Google Workspace, and other Enterprise Applications. Users can automatically sync\u202funlimited number of shared contacts and calendars\u202fin\u202fOffice 365,\u202fon-Premise\u202fExchange servers,\u202fand\u202fPublic Folders. CiraHub\u2019s flexibility allows users to utilize custom settings along with a variety of filters to control how the synchronization functions.<\/p>\n

CiraHub functions on a \u201cHub\u201d and \u201cSpoke\u201d system, where the \u201cHub\u201d acts as a central repository of all the data that will be synced to and from it, and the \u201cSpokes\u201d function as the data sources. A user simply needs to login to the CiraHub dashboard, create an initial \u201cHub\u201d and attach their \u201cSpokes.\u201d These spokes can be Public Folders, User mailboxes, Google contacts, CRMS, or an Exchange Server. From there, users have the option to enable one or two-way sync within each spoke; this allows them to determine if the data from the spoke will be read only, or if data will be synced back as well.<\/p>\n

<\/span>How Does CiraSync Work?<\/span><\/h2>\n

CiraSync is a secure SaaS platform offering centralized management for an entire Office 365 tenant with Roles-Based Administration. The solution syncs multiple contact lists and shared calendars to an unlimited number of business smartphones with a sync frequency of multiple times per day. No software to install, no client configuration, and no need for user training. Sync unlimited number of contacts, shared calendars, and notes multiple times a day.<\/p>\n

<\/span>How Is Data Transmitted via CiraHub and CiraSync?<\/span><\/h2>\n

CiraHub gathers data from several sources and syncs it to numerous other sources, hence it can be referred to as a „Many-to-Many sync solution. Conversely, CiraSync is a „One-to-Many sync solution“ – it takes data from a single source and syncs it to multiple users. While CiraHub offers a finite number of „spokes“ which limits the number of sources users can sync to, CiraSync can sync to an unlimited number of recipients.<\/p>\n

Compared to CiraHub, CiraSync works as a distribution tool. You take a calendar or contact source and sync it to an unlimited number of users in the organization. Information in CiraHub travels from point A to point B and back, thus changes made on one end will be mirrored to the other. CiraSync only transmits data in one direction, therefore if a user modifies information on their phone, the GAL will not be updated. However, if data is modified in the GAL, the user’s smartphone will update.<\/p>\n

<\/span>How do CiraHub and CiraSync Work Together?<\/span><\/h2>\n

CiraHub and CiraSync can be used together in a variety of ways to synchronize your data with other employees and clients within an organization. CiraSync is a distribution tool that allows users to synchronize calendar and contact data to any number of individuals within the organization. CiraHub simply functions as a very effective tool that allows those data sources to be synced together.<\/p>\n

For example, with CiraHub, you may combine different calendars into one output calendar that can act as a group work calendar. This allows any user to now look up the information on their computer and examine the results if they choose to. However, this can be confusing for all parties to deal with; what if you need that information while you’re out in the field?
