Before we get started with the first step, we have bad and good news for you. The bad news is Pipedrive and Salesforce don’t natively sync in both directions. But the good news is there is a tool that helps you do just that. It doesn’t copy and paste; it syncs, transfers, avoids duplicates, and more. We will use the tool in question, CiraHub, in this guide.<\/p>\n

Let’s show you how it’s done!<\/p>\n

  1. To two-way sync contacts<\/a> between Pipedrive and Salesforce, you’ll first need to log in<\/span><\/span> to <\/span>CiraHub<\/span>.<\/span><\/span> (See figure below.) Next, select the object you want to sync. In this example, the <\/span>contacts object<\/span> has been selected.<\/span><\/span> \"Hub<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Next, start the Hub and Spoke setup. Click on \u201cCRMs\u201d as your source type for your contact spoke. (The Hub contains all synced Contacts from each spoke; a spoke can be a Public Folder, a user mailbox, the GAL, or a CRM.)<\/span><\/span> \"Select<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Select Pipedrive<\/a> as the source type\u00a0for your contact spoke.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\"Select<\/li>\n
  4. Sign in with Pipedrive <\/span>to add your account to the <\/span>Hub and two-way sync Pipedrive contacts<\/a>. You can also<\/span>\u00a0select an existing Pipedrive account.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0\"Pipedrive<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. If you <\/span>selected<\/span> \u201cSign in with Pipedrive\u201d, you’ll be prompted to this screen to enter your Pipedrive username and password.<\/span><\/span>\"Pipedrive<\/li>\n
  6. Click Allow and Install to enable <\/span>CiraHub to<\/span> multi-way sync the CRM contacts<\/a> attached to your <\/span>Pipedrive<\/span> account.<\/span><\/span> \"Pipedrive<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Type in a Spoke Name and click Next. <\/span><\/span>\"Pipedrive<\/li>\n
  8. Next, type in the Hub Name and click Create.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"Pipedrive<\/li>\n
  9. Now, to sync Salesforce and Pipedrive contacts in both directions, select the option to add an Additional Spoke.\"\"<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  10. Click on \u201cCRMs\u201d as your source type for your contact spoke. (The Hub contains all synced Contacts from each spoke; a spoke can be a Public Folder, a user mailbox, the GAL or a CRM.) \"Select<\/li>\n
  11. Select \u201cSalesforce<\/a>\u201d as the contact spoke type.<\/span><\/span>\"Select<\/li>\n
  12. Sign in with Salesforce to add your account to the <\/span>Hub, or<\/span> select an existing Salesforce account. \u00a0\"Sign<\/span><\/li>\n
  13. If you selected\u00a0\u201cSign in with Salesforce\u201d, you’ll be prompted to this screen\u00a0to enter your Salesforce username and password.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\"Salesforce<\/li>\n
  14. Select „Allow“ to connect your Salesforce connect to the CiraApps Salesforce Connector.<\/span>\"Click<\/li>\n
  15. Type in a \u201cSpoke Name\u201d and click Next.\"\"<\/li>\n
  16. Next, type in the \u201cHub Name\u201d and click Create to two-way sync Salesforce contacts<\/a>.<\/span><\/span>\"\"<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  17. Next, right-click your spoke, and select \u201cSync Options\u201d. From there, you will be taken to a new window; click the box which says, \u201cAllow Hub to create and sync items in this spoke.\u201d This will enable 2-way synchronization<\/a> between the Hub and your spoke.<\/span><\/span> \"\"<\/span><\/li>\n
  18. Click on \u201cAllow Hub to create and sync items in this spoke\u201d. This will enable two-way synchronization from the endpoint to the hub database and back. Select Categorize Data in Spoke if you would like to filter out which items you would like to sync.\"Click<\/li>\n
