There is no built-in way to transfer your company\u2019s entire address book to your phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"788\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/User-reporting-gal-sync-issue-to-outlook-mobile-1024x788.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-59304\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/User-reporting-gal-sync-issue-to-outlook-mobile-980x754.png 980w, https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/User-reporting-gal-sync-issue-to-outlook-mobile-480x369.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Outlook mobile app lets you search for colleagues when writing emails, but that&#8217;s about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can type someone&#8217;s name in the &#8222;To&#8220; field and find them, but these contacts won&#8217;t show up in your phone&#8217;s regular Contacts app or anywhere else on your device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even worse, Microsoft limited this feature further in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, you can only find people you&#8217;ve emailed before, not everyone in your company directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"737\" height=\"463\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/users-cannot-view-gal-contacts-in-outlook-mobile.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-59308\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/users-cannot-view-gal-contacts-in-outlook-mobile.jpg 737w, https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/users-cannot-view-gal-contacts-in-outlook-mobile-480x302.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 737px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can search for contacts within the Outlook app, view basic information such as name and phone number, and make calls directly from the app. But that&#8217;s where it ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why this sucks?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These contacts are trapped inside the Outlook app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They won&#8217;t work with your phone&#8217;s dialer, text messages, WhatsApp, or any other apps. Every time you want to contact a colleague, you have to remember to search within Outlook first. It&#8217;s frustrating and time-consuming.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, this method is more of a workaround than a real solution.
