This sync will let you view all events on the iCal and Google Workspace calendars at any time. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With CiraHub, users can sync multiple calendars together instantly! You will automatically be informed of any changes made to the calendar on iCal or in Outlook if you two-way sync your iCal and Google Workspace calendars. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This article will outline how to enable a two-way calendar sync between Google Workspace and iCal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Two-Way_Sync_Google_Workspace_and_iCal\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two-Way Sync Google Workspace and iCal<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>1. First, Log in to CiraHub. You will be taken to the onboarding wizard. (See figure below.) Next, select the object you want to sync. In this example, the calendars object has been selected.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/choose-type-of-object-you-want-to-sync-1.jpg\" alt=\"Log in to CiraHub.\" width=\"504\" height=\"335\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2. Select <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/calendar\">Google<\/a> as the source type for your calendar spoke. (See figure below.)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/screenshoteasy-2022-02-18T111402.415.jpg\" width=\"511\" height=\"317\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3. Choose a Google Workplace Account to sign in with.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-51646\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Choose-a-google-workspace-account-to-sign-in-with.jpg\" alt=\"Choose a google workspace account to sign in with\" width=\"335\" height=\"371\" \/><\/p>\n<p>4. Click Grant Access to give CiraHub Permission to browse your calendar data.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-51654\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/click-grant-access-to-grant-cirahub-access-to-your-data.jpg\" alt=\"click grant access to grant cirahub access to your data\" width=\"453\" height=\"311\" \/><\/p>\n<p>6. Select which calendar you want to sync.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-51658\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/select-which-calendar-you-want-to-sync.jpg\" alt=\"select which calendar you want to sync\" width=\"487\" height=\"337\" \/><\/p>\n<p>7. Type in a spoke name and click CREATE.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-51662\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/type-in-a-spoke-name-for-your-calendar-and-click-create.jpg\" alt=\"type in a spoke name for your calendar and click create\" width=\"456\" height=\"318\" \/><\/p>\n<p>8. Select the option to add an Additional Spoke.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/add-the-spoke.jpg\" alt=\"add spoke\" \/><\/p>\n<p>9. On the CiraHub dashboard, click the <b>+Spoke<\/b> button and select the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.icloud.com\/calendar\"> iCal<\/a> option. Then, enter your iCal URL and click <b>NEXT<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Screenshot-2022-05-13-at-11.54.55-PM-1024x705.png\" alt=\"Adding an iCal Calendar Spoke\" width=\"512\" height=\"352\" \/><\/p>\n<h4><b>NOTE:<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only iCal links ending in the <\/span><b>.ics<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> format are valid. Always check for the file extension to allow you to sync Calendar items from that source on CiraHub.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>10. Name your new spoke and click <b>CREATE <\/b>to <b>two-way sync iCal calendars <\/b>. You should now see two spokes attached to the Hub on the CiraHub dashboard. You can add more spokes as required. (See figure below.)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/download-6.png\" width=\"600\" height=\"290\" \/><\/p>\n<p>11. Next, click on each Spoke and select <b>Sync Options<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/next-click-on-the-spoke-and-select-sync-options.jpg\" alt=\"next click on the spoke and select sync options\" width=\"270\" height=\"303\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">12. Click Allow Hub to create and two-way sync items in this spoke and click <\/span><b>SAVE.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (See figure below.)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/download-1.png\" width=\"662\" height=\"227\" \/><\/p>\n<h4><b>NOTE:<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Depending on your organization\u2019s needs, you can utilize a variety of additional <\/span><b>Sync Options<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, including private and tentative events, reminders, syncing meetings as appointments, and categorizing data in spokes. You can also edit synchronization settings for each of your spokes using the options at the bottom of the page. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>13. On the CiraHub Dashboard, click on the Hub, then click <b>Sync Now<\/b> to enable a two-way calendar sync between an exchange server user mailbox and iCal.
