Use the following guidelines when setting up your firewall:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"286\" data-end=\"466\"><strong data-start=\"286\" data-end=\"315\">1. Windows Firewall Settings<\/strong><br data-start=\"315\" data-end=\"318\" \/>If possible, disable the Windows Firewall on the server running CiraSync On-Premise. This allows the service to communicate without interruption.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"630\"><strong data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"508\">2. Alternative: Required Port Access<\/strong><br data-start=\"508\" data-end=\"511\" \/>If disabling the firewall isn\u2019t an option for your organization, you must allow traffic through the following ports:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"1200\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"718\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"718\"><strong data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"648\">Port 80<\/strong> \u2013 Used to access the CiraSync On-Premise Web Admin interface locally.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"822\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"822\"><strong data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"736\">Port 443<\/strong> \u2013 Required for making EWS (Exchange Web Services) calls to and from Exchange servers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"826\" data-end=\"1092\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"828\" data-end=\"911\"><strong data-start=\"828\" data-end=\"847\">Port 389 or 636<\/strong> \u2013 Required by CiraSync On-Prem UCM to read Active Directory information:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"917\" data-end=\"1026\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"917\" data-end=\"958\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"958\"><strong data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"931\">Port 389<\/strong> is used for standard LDAP.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"1020\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"1020\"><strong data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"978\">Port 636<\/strong> is used for Secure LDAP (LDAPS) over TLS.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1026\" data-end=\"1092\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1028\" data-end=\"1092\"><em data-start=\"1028\" data-end=\"1092\">Note: These ports are not required for cloud-only deployments.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1200\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1098\" data-end=\"1200\"><strong data-start=\"1098\" data-end=\"1136\">High-range Ports (49241 and above)<\/strong> \u2013 Must be open to support communication with CiraSync services.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To ensure CiraSync On-Premise functions properly, certain firewall permissions must be configured.
