Follow the steps below to create and configure a Calendar Distribution List in CiraSync On Premise.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Instructions<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1. Expand <\/span><b>Unified Contact Management<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the left navigation panel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/unified-contact.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2. Right-click <\/span><b>Calendar Distribution List<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and select <\/span><b>Create Calendar<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from the menu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12236 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/create-calendar.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"355\" height=\"382\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/create-calendar.jpg 355w, https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/create-calendar-279x300.jpg 279w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 355px) 100vw, 355px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. Choose the data source for the Calendar Distribution List. For this example, select <\/span><b>From a Public Folder<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as the source.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Note:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Selecting this option will use a <\/span><b>Public Folder<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from your Exchange Server as the source for the Calendar Distribution List.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12240 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/create-public-folder.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"587\" height=\"252\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4. Enter a name for the Calendar Distribution List in the <\/span><b>Name<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> field.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12244 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/enter-a-name.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"631\" height=\"138\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5. Click the <\/span><b>Folder<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> button in the <\/span><b>Folder<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> field to open the <\/span><b>Folder Selector<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> window.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12248 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/click-folder.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"628\" height=\"721\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/click-folder.jpg 628w, https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/click-folder-480x551.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 628px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">6. Select the <\/span><b>source Public Folder<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that will be used for the Calendar Distribution List and click <\/span><b>Save<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This will return you to the CDL window.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Note:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> If you selected <\/span><b>From a Private Folder<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Step 3, CiraSync On Premise will prompt you to specify the <\/span><b>user mailbox<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that will serve as the source. If you selected <\/span><b>From a Remote Exchange Server<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, you will need to enter the <\/span><b>login credentials<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>URL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the remote server.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12256 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/public-folder-source.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"435\" height=\"634\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/public-folder-source.jpg 435w, https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/public-folder-source-206x300.jpg 206w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 435px) 100vw, 435px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">7. Customize the calendar sync filters using the available drop-down menus and the <\/span><b>Sync future calendar appointments for<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Retain historical appointments for<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> fields. Adjust the values using the up and down arrows as needed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/customize-folder.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8. Click the <\/span><b>Targets<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tab. This will display additional configuration options for the Calendar Distribution List.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12264 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/click-targets.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"649\" height=\"732\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/click-targets.jpg 649w, https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/click-targets-480x541.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 649px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">9. In the <\/span><b>Folder<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> field, specify where CiraSync On-Prem will create the Calendar Distribution List.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Note:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It is recommended to create the Calendar Distribution List in a <\/span><b>calendar subfolder<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for better organization and easier tracking of calendar events.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12268 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/target-folder-field.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"636\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">10. If creating the Calendar Distribution List in a subfolder, enter a name for the subfolder.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12272 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/name-folder-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"655\" height=\"154\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">11. Click the <\/span><b>Manage<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> button in the <\/span><b>Recipients<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> field to open the <\/span><b>Target \u2013 Mandatory Contact List<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> window.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12276 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/click-manage.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"625\" height=\"334\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/click-manage.jpg 625w, https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/click-manage-480x257.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 625px, 100vw\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">12. Click the <\/span><b>folder icon<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the left panel to display all the <\/span><b>Contact Collections<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> created in your CiraSync On-Prem tenant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/mcl-folder-icon-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"672\" height=\"579\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13. Select the desired <\/span><b>User Collection<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that will receive the Calendar Distribution List and click <\/span><b>Save<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This will return you to the CDL window.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/drag-and-drop.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">14.
