{"id":3278,"date":"2020-08-25T14:20:35","date_gmt":"2020-08-25T21:20:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/csop.cirasync.com\/?p=3278"},"modified":"2026-10-02T12:39:53","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T19:39:53","slug":"setup-guide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/es\/support\/setup-guide\/","title":{"rendered":"CiraSync On-Prem UCM Setup Guide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This guide shows how to setup your CiraSync On-Prem tenant after installation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Before_You_Start\"><\/span>Before You Start<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This guide assumes you have read and performed the procedure outlined in the following articles:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/cirasync-on-prem-ucm-pre-requisites\/\">CiraSync On-Prem UCM Pre-Requisites<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/support\/preparing-exchange-server\/\">Preparing Your Windows Server for CiraSync On-Prem UCM<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/?p=3258\">CiraSync On-Prem Installation Guide<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Instructions\"><\/span>Instructions<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Click <strong>Service Mailbox Setup <\/strong>tile in the CiraSync On-Prem UCM install wizard. (See figure below.) <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3284\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/itrezzo-UCM-wizard-e1598387400123.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"395\" height=\"391\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Select your tenant\u2019s Exchange environment. In this example, select\u00a0<strong>Exchange.<\/strong> The <strong>Select Microsoft Exchange service account<\/strong> section of the wizard will appear. (See figure below.) <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3281\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/itrezzo-UCM-Select-Microsoft-Exchange-service-account-wizard.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"395\" height=\"388\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Enter the direct URL to your tenant\u2019s Exchange database in the <strong>Direct URL\u00a0<\/strong>field in the following format: https:\/\/&lt;mail.server&gt;\/ews\/exchange.asmx. <div class='et-box et-info'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class='et-box-content'><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> mail.server is a placeholder for the name of your Exchange server.\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Validate. <\/strong> A pop-up will appear.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong> to close the pop-up.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Next.<\/strong> The <strong>Contact info<\/strong> window will open. (See figure below.) <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3287\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/itrezzo-BOP-Contact-Setup.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"394\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Enter the desired email address to serve as the BOP\/CiraSync On-Prem admin in the <strong>Email Address<\/strong> field. Information from the GAL will fill out the rest of the form.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Get <\/strong>in the <strong>Authorization Code\u00a0<\/strong>field.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Request Trial License Pack\u00a0<\/strong>checkbox.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Next.<\/strong> CiraSync On-Prem will send two emails, one is a generic message confirming the CiraSync On-Prem UCM registration, and the other will contain the authorization code used for CiraSync On-Prem and the trial license pack. <div class='et-box et-info'>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class='et-box-content'><strong>NOTE: <\/strong>CiraSync On-Prem offers users 6-month trial license pack of 10 licenses.
