You will need this to set up and grant access permissions as requested by Microsoft.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW102445665 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Screenshot-2022-03-22-at-7.23.19-PM.png\" alt=\"Hub and Spoke Setup\" width=\"572\" height=\"395\" \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Next, start the Hub and Spoke setup. <span class=\"TextRun SCXW253371727 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW253371727 BCX0\">Click on <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/exchange\/address-books\/address-lists\/create-global-address-list\">\u201cGlobal Address List\u201d<\/a> as your source type for your contact spoke and select User Mailbox.<\/span><\/span> Users will need to have an Microsoft 365 account with the following Exchange Online roles granted via PowerShell: Address Lists, Mail Recipient Creation, and Mail Recipients permissions which will act as a Service Account to run the GAL sync. This account does not need to have an Microsoft 365 license, and this is required for each tenant added to the Hub.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/g-g-select-global-address-list.png\" alt=\"Select Global Address List\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n\t\t\t<div class='et-tabs-container et_sliderfx_fade et_sliderauto_false et_sliderauto_speed_5000 et_slidertype_top_tabs'>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<ul class='et-tabs-control'>\n\t\t\t<li><a href='#'>\n\t\t\t3.1 Credential Based Authentication\n\t\t<\/a><\/li> \n\t\t<li><a href='#'>\n\t\t\t3.2 Certificate Based Authentication\n\t\t<\/a><\/li>\n\t\t<\/ul> \n\t\t<div class='et-tabs-content'>\n\t\t\t<div class='et-tabs-content-main-wrap'>\n\t\t\t\t<div class='et-tabs-content-wrapper'>\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<div class='et_slidecontent'>\n\t\t\t<p>3. There are two authentication methods &#8211; Credentials and Certificate based. Select Credentials and sign in with your Microsoft Admin Account\u2019s Login and Password Information for the GAL Connection.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/g-g-select-credentials.png\" alt=\"\u201cSelect\u201d Credentials and Re-Enter your Microsoft Account\" \/><\/p>\n<p>4. Next, the Microsoft Sign-in page will appear. Provide the Email and Password to your account.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/g-g-sign-in-with-microsoft.jpg\" alt=\"Sign in with Microsoft\" width=\"624\" height=\"474\" \/><\/p>\n<p>5. Click Accept to give CiraHub access to your Microsoft Account. You should always leave the \u201cConsent on behalf of your organization\u201d box unchecked when you sign in for the first time. This option lets other users under the same domain access this Hub if they log in using their company email address. A user would not have access to this Hub, but they would be able to log in and create their own hub. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/g-g-microsoft-permissisons.jpg\" alt=\"Give CiraHub Permission to Microsoft\" \/><\/p>\n<p>6. Select Credentials for the GAL connection in order to <a href=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/solutions\/directory-to-directory\/?gclid=CjwKCAiAuOieBhAIEiwAgjCvchPJoeuQOS6VT1N2vZp5BymSExzVFYNXLUkFl1wItxFU5g2sNOlnRBoC7sAQAvD_BwE\">two-way sync GAL contacts <\/a>and re-enter your Microsoft Account Login and Password Information.\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/g-g-reenter.png\" alt=\"Validate GAL \" width=\"631\" height=\"435\" \/><\/p>\n<p>7. Wait for CiraHub to validate the connection to the GAL after entering the Microsoft Login and Password.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/g-g-validate.jpg\" alt=\"Select Authentication Method\" width=\"638\" height=\"441\" \/><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<div class='et_slidecontent'>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div><\/p>\n<p>8. With the Certificate Authentication method, you will be prompted to either \u201cAutomatically Generate a Certificate\u201d or you can choose to Import a PFX Certificate File and enter your password.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/screenshoteasy-2022-04-11T170739.490.png\" alt=\"Certificate Authentication\" width=\"613\" height=\"414\" \/><\/p>\n<p>9. Enter your Microsoft Global Admin email address. CiraHub will then store your account information in the Microsoft Azure Vault when it is synced from Powershell.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1111.jpg\" alt=\"Enter Microsoft 365 Email\" width=\"648\" height=\"445\" \/><\/p>\n<p>10. Lastly, you will need to wait for CiraHub to Install Certificate-Based Authentication for the GAL connection and then click Next. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/222.jpg\" alt=\"Install Certificate\" width=\"652\" height=\"454\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW99796231 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW99796231 BCX0\">11.
