We’ve rolled out highly requested updates to make contact syncing even smoother, especially for mobile users and IT teams managing large deployments.
Whether you’re syncing thousands of contacts, trying to make caller ID more helpful, or just want more control over how things look and feel, this update’s for you.
Let’s walk through what’s new in September 2025.
CiraSync Web App Improvements
Side Panel Now Opens in Expanded Mode
The side panel in the CiraSync dashboard now loads fully expanded. That means you’ll see key sections like contact fields, notes, and role management without needing to hunt through a collapsed menu.
Easier to find what you need, faster to get things done.
CiraSync Mobile App Updates (Public Folders App – Office 365)
1. Sync the Entire Tenant from the App
There’s now an easier way to sync every contact in your Office 365 tenant. If you have dashboard access, you can sync all contacts for the entire organization directly from the mobile app.
No need to go folder by folder. This is perfect for companies managing large user bases.
2. Caller ID for Subfolder Contacts
You’ll now see caller ID info when contacts from subfolders call you. This will help you recognize calls from coworkers or clients, even if they aren’t saved in your Outlook contacts.
3. Subfolder Contacts in Native Address Book
Contacts from subfolders can now be synced into your phone’s native address book, which means they’ll show up in any app that uses your phone’s contacts and appear on caller ID.
Heads up: this only works smoothly if native sync is enabled in the dashboard before installing and signing into the app.
4. Better Control Over UI & Settings
We’ve added a few new settings to give you more control:
- Choose how contacts are sorted: by first or last name
- Customize calendar views (start of the week, 24-hour format, etc.)
- Manage native sync settings, including manual sync and caller ID toggles
