We’ve rolled out highly requested updates to make contact syncing even smoother, especially for mobile users and IT teams managing large deployments.  

Let’s walk through what’s new in September 2025.

CiraSync Web App Improvements

  • Better handling of delicensed mailboxes: CiraSync now correctly removes contacts from mailboxes that lose their license during a sync cycle—fixing issues reported by teams like Benetton.
  • Improved partner onboarding: When a user signs up through a Partner invitation link, the system now links the tenant to the Partner automatically, with no extra steps or prompts.
  • Extended log retention: User Action Logs are now stored in the system for 6 months, instead of just 30 days—making audits and troubleshooting easier for IT teams.
  • Consultants can now impersonate users: The Impersonation button—previously reserved for Admins—is now available to users with Consultant roles, helping support teams troubleshoot faster.
  • Graph API reliability improved: More retry attempts have been added to reduce sync failures due to temporary Microsoft API issues.

CiraSync Contacts App Updates

iOS v2.7.2

  • New blockout days feature: You can now set blackout dates for rolling or recurring reminders, preventing syncs on holidays or maintenance days.
  • Crash fix: A small bug that caused the app to crash in some situations has been resolved.

iOS v2.8.0

  • No additional notes shared, but likely includes further performance and usability improvements.

Android v1.0.4

  • This marks the first official release of the Android version of CiraSync Contacts. Expect core sync and reminder features for mobile users on Android.

CiraSync Public Folders for O365 – iOS v2.8.2

  • Redesigned navigation: A new bottom menu has been introduced, making it easier to switch between views on mobile. 
  • Intune compatibility fixes: Improvements made to support organizations using Microsoft Intune for device and app management.
