Should I upgrade to CiraSync Enterprise Edition?

CiraSync Enterprise Edition is intended for teams larger than 5 individuals and scales to an unlimited number of users. The solution provides centralized management with Roles-Based Administration, automated syncing of contact lists and calendars multiple times per day, and many advanced features (not available in the Personal Edition). Free technical support is available 7 days a week.

What is the difference between CiraSync Personal and Enterprise Edition?

CiraSync Personal Edition is a free and limited-capability version of the Enterprise Edition and can be managed from the central dashboard for up to 5 users. Only a single contact, Public Folder, or calendar source can automatically synced once a week for a maximum of 1,000 items. 

CiraSync Enterprise Edition allows centralized management for an entire Microsoft 365 tenant with Roles-Based Administration and the ability to setup automated syncing of multiple contact lists and calendars. Sync frequency is multiple times per day. The solution scales to an unlimited number of users and an unlimited number of items. The solution includes many advanced features, such as AutoComplete, Advanced Folder Purge, Reading an Internet Calendar, etc. Free technical support is available 7 days a week.

Yes! Cira Apps offers a 180-day, 10-user Enterprise Edition Trial. Most organizations find 180 days enough to test with our SaaS solution.

Do you provide customer support for the Enterprise Edition?

Yes, we have stellar support for Enterprise Edition customers, and no, you don’t pay for it! Does CiraSync have a native connector to sync Salesforce contacts to smartphones?

Yes, Salesforce sync is available as an add-on during purchase. CiraSync accesses the Salesforce API, copies contacts from the cloud, and then distributes the updated and current contacts to an unlimited number of smartphones. Do you provide customer references?

Will my subscription automatically renew?

No, we do not auto-renew and we do not save your financial information. When your subscription is 30 days away from expiring, we will send you a reminder email. You will then need to log in to the CiraSync portal and generate an invoice or make a payment, just as you did when you first purchased our solution.

How can I revoke access for CiraSync?

When you granted consent to CiraSync, it had access to your Exchange mailbox. You can revoke the access by following the instructions in this support article: Removing User Consent from Microsoft 365 for CiraSync.

After you revoke access, CiraSync will automatically disable scheduled events and within 30 days, CiraApps will purge all customer information.

How do you secure customer passwords?

CiraSync does not store or request passwords, and no code exists to request or store customer passwords. All authentication is done via the Azure consent process. After the user grants consent to the Azure CiraSync application, all interaction with tenant data is done using the token. All customer data is passed on the Microsoft Azure network–not the internet. All backups stay in the Azure cloud; logs and any caching used for performance purposes are purged after 30 days. 

CiraSync interfaces with Azure AD using the Graph API, and access to Microsoft 365 Exchange is via Exchange Web Services.

Does CiraSync support Hosted Exchange (not Microsoft 365)?

No support presently exists for third-party Exchange hosting providers. You could request service provider to install and support the itrezzo Unified Contact Manager, which has similar capabilities.

Does CiraSync allow for two-way sync?

Cira Apps Ltd. is releasing a new two-way sync solution in the fall of 2020 called CiraHub. This solution supports two-way sync and GAL-to-GAL sync. 

Is CiraSync GDPR compliant? Where do you store customer data?

Yes, we are GDPR compliant. Our solutions use Microsoft Cloud Azure servers in Eastern United States and the European Union. Our European customers can configure their data residency setting in the CiraSync Enterprise Edition dashboard.  As a SaaS solution, CiraSync integrates tightly with Microsoft Azure, utilizing the Azure Consent Framework. If you are a subscriber, your data is kept in the Microsoft Cloud.
